Achtergrondinformatie: The Graham Sauvignon Blanc vineyard is located in the Lower Dashwood of the Awatere Valley in Marlborough. In 2005, this coastal situated vineyard produced Sauvignon Blanc fruit of outstanding intensity. This was the result of the vines being in perfect balance for this particular site, a slow ripening due to the temperature regulation of the sea coupled with the vine age and a unique approach to canopy manipulation. The fruit at harvest was very ripe whilst maintaining a lively freshness and pungency. This wine was fermented cool with selected yeast strains to retain its aromatic profile, with a small percentage undergoing fermentation in barrel, enhancing the wines textural qualities.
